FIRST DAY

First week of class, I didn’t come to class because I was in USA, I practiced a lot speaking with another people although a huge percentage speak Spanish I always tried to talk in English. Was a good experience could be communicated with others, it did better the trip.

To practice the subject of conditionals, we played the hot potato, the teacher gave us a role with the beginning or the end of a sentence and we had to complete it with the conditionals this activity I really liked because it was something different to other classes, I have always believed That playing you learn more

SELL OR NOT

In class we saw this grammar structure and practice. For me is a little difficult because we need to know past participle of the verbs.

This week someone from the English club came to the class to show us a short film and then discuss what we think about the movie. And it was incredible the teaching that we leave at least to me about teamwork and strive for something we like.

I love read a lot is one of my passion, but I only do that in Spanish, one day I said to myself “kristel it’s time to begin read something in English”. I went to a library and bought a book that is the second part from a movie that I saw and the best form to know how ends for me is reading a book because the second movie hasn’t opening day. So now I know how ends first that many people.

We did a very interesting activity, write the horoscope for our partners and then we had to say it in an indirect way. It was very funny. Daniel was the luckiest, they predicted that he will win 2 times the lottery.

Tic tac toe

Topic: Connectives, Daniel, Celeste and me.The teacher gave us a list and we should do impromptu sentences with the connectors. It was interesting because I did not know that certain words were used only for certain contexts. Celeste was the winner buuu.

To improve my English when I want to see a cartoon first I change the languages to English and this practice really helped me, I love see “TEEN TITANS” because they are 5 and everyone speak different, also I see some programs of “Discovery kids”. I’m sure that now my listening is better.

How the teacher said: “you only learn speak by speaking.” One day I was in the bus from Jacó and is common that a lot of North Americans and Europeans were there. They always need help, so a girl approached to the driver to said something but they couldn’t understand each other in that moment I leaves my shame and told with the her then we talk around 15 min. I met a new friend from Canada named Isa was a nice experience.

For the last weeks we have been talking about and doing activities about adversity, and we conclude that it is necessary in our lives to prove to us that everything is not rosy and that things cost.
